If you need assistance accessing My Giving or have questions about your information on the My Giving platform, please reach out to Donor Services.

How do I login for the first time?
Click the Sign Up button on the main page.
Enter the email address you would like to use for the My Giving website and click Send Verification Code.
Retrieve the verification code from your email inbox and enter it in the box.
Create a password.
Enter a phone number for verification.
Enter your Unique ID to view your My Giving profile.
Don't have a Unique ID? Complete the form with your information and our Donor Services team will contact you during the next business day to get your account linked.
What is my Unique ID?
The Unique ID is a number that was sent to you either in an email or in the mail to assist with your sign up process. If you don't have a Unique ID, complete the form and our Donor Services team will reach out during the next business day to help you get connected.
What should I do if I can't access my account, or forgot my password or User ID?
If you are having difficulty, the Donor Services team is here to help!

How do I receive more information about a gift on my record?

Why do I not see my donation history?
Your account privacy is very important to us! If you have recently signed up for the My Giving website and do not see your information, please complete the Contact Us Form to help us connect your giving history to your account. Giving history is for the last five years.

How do I see my Lifetime Giving total to the University of Illinois?

How do I see the details of transactions not listed on the My Giving website?
At this time, the My Giving website only lists gifts of cash and gifts in kind.
To obtain the details of any transaction not listed on the My Giving website, please reach out to Donor Services.

How do I update my address with a seasonal address?
We want to be sure your mail is delivered to your correct address. If you need to update your current address with a seasonal address, please use the Contact Us form to tell us 1) you seasonal address 2) the dates we should use that seasonal address.

Is my gift tax deductible?
All gifts to the University of Illinois Foundation (UIF) are tax-deductible as allowed by law. Please consult your tax advisor about your personal tax situation. The University of Illinois Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization exempt from federal income tax.
Where do I get information about documents such as a 1099-R or K-1?
UIF Trust Services can help with questions regarding your 1099-R or K-1. Please email trustsvcsinfo@uif.uillinois.edu and provide your full name and/or the name of the charitable instrument under which your payments are being provided.
Why can't I print out a receipt for my spouse's giving history?
The security and privacy of your donor information is very important. We want to ensure that your information is only released to you and that every effort is made to keep that information secure.
